The AV/C protocol suite includes a general specification, with specialized sub-unit specifications. Vydeo software provides support for the General and VCR Subunit specifications with other subunits easily added.
The protocol implementation has been tested significantly with other vendors and proven to be in compliance with the formats and procedures of the AV/C specification.
Vydeo's AV/C code meets the 1394-1995/2000 Specifications as well as the 1394 Trade Association AV/C General Specification, and the IEC-61883 Specification.
